Last year, indie and alternative rock fans were well and truly spoiled. There were standout releases from some of the great acts of the 2020s like Wednesday, Geese, and Momma, plus wonderful projects from more established mainstays like Bon Iver, Perfume Genius, Sharon Van Etten, and Florence + the Machine. Hell, there was also Hotline TNT, YHWH Nailgun, Shallowater, Rocket, Lambrini Girls, Samia, Weatherday, Just Mustard, Water from Your Eyes… far, FAR too many to list in this humble intro.

So, it’s time we take a look at what the next 12 months will have in store for the alt kids and indie rock listeners of the world. Calling all Topster and Last.fm users, retired and budding grungers, and anyone who has a strong opinion on Cameron Winter — this one is for you.
