Prime that wallet for yet another streaming service as Pavement has entered the game with Pavements+.
If you were hoping for a service that offered up tasty rarities (perhaps that ever elusive “Spit On A Stranger” 7-inch?), keep right on searching, folks. Rather, Pavements+ will instead “exclusively stream the critically adored, structurally perplexing, semi-meta-cinematic opus Pavements.” If absolutely nothing else, at least the platform won’t be a minefield to navigate.
Not only will audiences be able to access the movie “about the band that may or may not be about the idea of the band,” there will also be bonus features, archival footage, and rehearsal fragments. Also available? “Unexplained silences, and at least one camera accidentally left rolling for 47 minutes.” Beat that, Disney+.
“We noticed there were too many streaming services,” said Pavement’s Scott “Spiral Stairs” Kannberg in a statement. “So we made another one.”

Directed by Alex Ross Perry, Pavements hit theaters in September 2024 and stars Pavement (duh), Rebecca Clay Cole, Gary Young, Joe Keery, Nat Wolff, Fred Hechinger, Logan Miller, Griffin Newman, Tim Heidecker, Jason Schwartzman, Michael Esper, Zoe Lister-Jones, and Kathryn Gallagher.
