Bob’s Burgers is currently in its mid-season break, but the show is keeping fans fed with a new cover of Joy Division’s “Transmission.”
The cover, which arrived on March 27th via Bob’s Burgers Side Orders YouTube page, features Bob (H. Jon Benjamin) on vocals and Gene (Eugene Mirman) on synths. Bob, though rough around the edges, attempts his best Ian Curtis impression, and certainly captures the late singer’s booming baritone. With its composition in mind, the animation team behind Bob’s Burgers also provides a kaleidoscopic display to pair with Bob’s impassioned performance. Watch the cover below.

Currently in its 16th season, Bob’s Burgers is set to return to Sundays on Fox on April 26th. The show was renewed last year alongside The Simpsons and Family Guy, keeping it on the air through the 2028–29 television season.
