Rock veterans Collective Soul<\/a> have announced a new album,Touch and Go<\/em>, that will be released as a Record Store Day exclusive on April 18th.<\/p>\n

As a Record Store Day exclusive, the album will only being sold in independent record stores. There is no indication on whether there are plans for a wider release of the album.<\/p>\n

Touch and Go<\/em> showcases a stylistic pivot for the group. While known for alternative rock and post-grunge, this new record showcases a new wave-inspired direction drawing influence from The Cars.<\/p>\n

“We’re excited for everyone to hear our new album Touch and Go,” says Ed Roland. “It has a New Wave sound. You can get it on Record Store Day and we appreciate your love and support!”’<\/p>
